Nailed Timber Roof Trusses Made of Low Grade Timber Fabrication and Testing : Technical Paper No. 72

In the framework of the policy to promote the local use of timber species which are as yet unknown in the export market as replacement of Meranti, a range of nailed timber trusses made of low-grade timber (Jeujing - Albizzia Falcata) is being tested. The manufacturing of these trusses by means of assembly jigs, without the involvement of trained carpenters, will form the basis for preparing a practical site manual for mass fabrication of this type of roof trusses.
